PERFORMANCE

Starting out with just 3 pieces of heavy equipment in 2002, we have been able to grow our fleet to over 40 pieces. Sallenger Inc. has one of the most current-model heavy equipment fleets in Central Illinois with Tier 3 and Tier 4 Final designations.

We utilize the most current Trimble Global Positioning System (GPS) with Earthworks Platform automatic hydraulics on our bulldozers and graders. This allows for high speed grading with an accuracy of ½ inch grading tolerance, and increased production rates, which in turn allows our customers the most competitive prices. Our scrapers & excavators are GPS equipped with manual hydraulics. By utilizing GPS on the excavators it allows us to clean out ponds, basins, & impoundments that have been lined with HDPE liners, and control our grade to prevent damage to the liner.

We have the ability to convert Auto Cad Drawings provided by the design engineer to 3D Digital Terrain Models (DTM) to ensure the project stays on schedule, even when there are design changes throughout the course of the project.

With our combined experience of over 90 years, we can meet with our clients and their engineering firms to work together on “value engineering” the project prior to the final design stage. This can save the client from having to import or export material, and end up with a balanced earthwork project for the final design. This in turn, saves the client time and money.

Sallenger Inc. has been able to create long term working relationships with our clients. A large percentage of our work load is repeat business. Our clients have come to expect the high standards we strive to maintain. We are known for providing safe job sites, working with extreme efficiency to provide timely completions, and unmatched quality of work at the most competitive prices.
